Greenpower processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide it to us yourself.

Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

  • Address details
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • IP address
  • Internet browser and device type
  • Company name

By transmitting or entering their data, users grant permission to this application to use this data to respond to information queries, price enquiries or any type of question.

2. Special and/or sensitive personal data we process

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data on website visitors who are under 16 years of age. Unless they have parental or guardian consent. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in their children's online activities to avoid collecting data on children without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without such consent, please contact us at info@greenpowerbenelux.org, we will delete this information.

Greenpower Benelux does not make decisions based on automated processing about matters that could (significantly) affect individuals. This concerns decisions that are made by computer programmes or systems, without any human being (e.g. an employee of Greenpower Benelux) being involved.

Greenpower Benelux does not retain your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes for which your data is collected. We use the following retention periods:

Greenpower Benelux only provides data to third parties if this is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

7. Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use

Greenpower Benelux uses functional, analytical and tracking cookies. These ensure that the website works properly and that, for example, your preferences are remembered. These cookies are also used to make the website work properly and to optimise it. You can send a request to view, correct, delete, transfer your personal data or request the withdrawal of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to info@greenpowerbenelux.org.

To ensure that the request for inspection is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.

9. How we secure personal data

Greenpower Benelux takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to counter abuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. If you have the impression that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of abuse, please contact our customer service or via info@greenpowerbenelux.org. Greenpower Benelux has taken the following measures to secure your personal data:

  • Security updates to software & server.
  • Security software, such as a virus scanner and firewall.
  • TLS (formerly SSL) We send your data over a secure internet connection. You can tell this by the 'https' address bar and the padlock in the address bar.
  • DKIM, SPF and DMARC are three Internet standards we use to prevent you from receiving e-mails on our behalf that contain viruses, are spam or are intended to obtain personal (login) data.

10. Within the EU

We do not provide personal data to parties located outside the EU.
